Beautiful B&B at the centre of Catania. Everything is in walking distance. The old market outside is a nice touch. The bed was comfortable and the aircon works a treat.

Great Location & Continental Breakfast

Location was great. Walking distance to Old Town, subway station nearby and right in the middle of a huge flea market that opens daily (except Sundays). If you like bargain hunting as well as shopping for fresh fruits and vegetables, you'll love it. First night we didn't know there is a layer of room darkening/ noise reduction panel IN FRONT of the sheers, so it was very bright & a bit noisy in the morning, and we could not sleep-in even though we were very tired. We also did not know we have to manually turn on the air-conditioning, so it was uncomfortable. After we figured out everything, 2nd nights on-wards was fine. Place is a bit outdated but location is great & building is secured. Also we like the fact that continental breakfast is at a coffee shop nearby and there is no cut-off time, so we can sleep-in & still can get breakfast. Another thing we found out after a day or so is that you can get whatever coffee and pastry/sandwich they have on menu for your breakfast. At first, we thought it was choice of coffee and croissant only. Overall pleasant stay for budget style accommodation.

The room was spacious and cosy. However, the owner was completely irresponsible and unhelpful when issues related to the property arose. During cleaning, the housekeeper likely threw away my friend's pills. When we informed the owner, he began searching the trash (as if something usable could be found there), and when he didn’t locate them, he acted as if I wasn't speaking to him, totally ingoring me and not understanding English! His behavior was utterly rude and unhelpful. When we threatened to contact Expedia, he suddenly offered to buy the pills and told us to wait in the room. We waited in the room for an hour and a half until I called him, only to discover he had no intention of purchasing the pills. Instead, he was in town taking care of his own business. My friend needed to take the pills within a specific timeframe, and the owner didn't consider it important to inform us that he was not actually getting them as promised, leaving us waiting in the room. Eventually, while he agreed to pay for the pills (which is the right thing to do when items go missing on your property), he refused to pay more than what they cost in our home country. This is unacceptable because we wouldn’t have incurred these expenses if the housekeeper hadn’t thrown them away in the first place. His behavior was unacceptable for someone in the hospitality industry and outrageous! Proper guest care is essential to ensure a pleasant stay. Avoid this place if you don't want to spoil your holidays!

A small hotel in the very center of Catania.

A hotel with only 4 rooms. In the very center of Catania, right next to Stesicoro Square, right next to the market. Rooms cleaned every 2 days. Breakfast at the nearby Caffè Bellini (one coffee and one croissant).

Die Unterkunft ist soweit Okay, aber das jeden Morgen um 6 Uhr ein Markt aufgebaut wird und dass es danach ausschaut wie auf einer Müllkippe, dass sagt niemand!!! Das Frühstück ist nicht im Haus, dass ist in einem Caffee um die Ecke, aber das fanden wir ganz nett. Die Zentrale Lage des Hotel's hat das Negative vom Marktaufbau und den Müll wieder gut gemacht!!! Fazit, wenn man nicht so viel Wert auf Schicki/Micki legt kommt man damit klar !!! Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, Top Die Zimmer sind Sauber und funktionell eingerichtet!! Parkplatz gibt's vorm Hotel nicht, da muss man 500 m vorher suchen und es ist alles Kostenpflichtig, aber nicht so teuer Mit Abstrichen ein gutes Hotel!! Gruß Filippo

La pensión está en el centro de un mercado callejero que solo cierra el domingo. El ruido empieza a las cinco o las seis de la mañana y dura hasta la tarde, pero entonces llegan los camiones de la limpieza. La habitación no está mal por el precio que cobran. El desayuno es en un bar que está en otra calle: un café y una pieza de bollería.

la habitación estaba limpia, la localizacion es inmejorable estas en el centro, por supuesto en los centro de las ciudades hay un poco de ruido con los mercados etc, pero para nada un problema. Si vas en coche hay un parking por 10 euros el dia a 200 metros. Las recomendaciones del staff son muy buenas y todo fue muy bien hasta que encontramos 8 o 10 mosquitos en la habitación. Cuando contacte con la persona responsable me recomendo que comprara algo para matarlos en el supermercado porque ellos no tenian. Esta respuesta esta fuera de lugar bajo mi punto de vista. Si no tienes un producto para matar mosquitos, se tiene que comprar uno y dejarlo en el B&B para el futuro uso de otros usuarios. Total, que compre un bote y me lo lleve de vuelta para casa. Lo dicho, excepto el inaceptable comportamiento del bote para matar mosquitos, lo demas perfecto.

Hébergement très bien situé et confortable.

Séjour au cœur de CATANE, à 15mn à pieds maximum de toutes les visites de la ville. Quartier très populaire, avec le marché quotidien au pied de l'immeuble. Accueil jusqu'à 21h sans supplément, car notre avion arrivant à 19h, il a fallu tenir compte du délai de trajet entre l'aéroport et l'hébergement. Chambre spacieuse et relativement calme malgré le marché. Renseignements sur les visites et restaurants fournis par l'hôtesse. Par ailleurs, le petit déjeuner est pris dans un café à 3mn de l'hébergement, pas beaucoup de choix ... mais nous côtoyons les siciliens dès le matin. Par contre, nous n'avions pas de véhicule et heureusement, car il me semble que ce soit compliqué pur se stationner.

街の中心部でバール、スーパー等も近くにあり便利です。 鉄道駅やバスターミナルへのアクセスも容易。 建物は古いですが、室内は広く清潔でした。シャワーの水圧は弱め。ドライヤーはホース式ではなく使いやすかったです。 朝食は近くのバールにチケットを持っていく形式でした。
