This was an incredible stay. The room was spacious and comfortable and spotlessly clean. Lucille was so lovely and welcoming. She bought beautiful patisserie cream filled pastries fresh for breakfast. I wish we had been able to stay longer. Her hospitality is amazing. So close to the city and the railway station. I would thoroughly recommend

Absolutely would recommend this property. Our host luciella was so lovely and welcoming. The room was spacious and fresh high quality bedding. She even changed the music to Italian love songs to set the mood for the day. The only preparation I would suggest is to wait for the beep each time you press the pass code screen.

Lovely clean, modern room. Lucilla was an amazing host - super friendly and helpful (and luckily speaks good English because my Italian is terrible). 😅

We stayed at B&B Oriental Palace for one night. It was only a 10 minute walk to the historic center of Catania which was very convenient for our short stay. Our room was clean, and we were able to check in early which we greatly appreciated. We weren't able to have the breakfast as we had to leave early for a flight but there was coffee/tea and small bites available throughout the day. The B&B is tucked away deep inside an older historic building, and you needed 5 keys to get through the building, up the elevator and to the B&B! It was definitely a unique experience finding and accessing it, but it didn't impact our stay in any way. Very reasonably priced with a friendly manager, so would recommend B&B Oriental Palace to others looking for a smaller bed and breakfast experience versus a hotel.

We appreciate meeting our B & B host, Lucilla, and having her walk us through the 2 front doors, elevator, B & B, and room key procedure. She was also very kind and helpful in making recommendations and gave us her phone number in the event of any problems. While in a charming historic building, the bathroom was modern, bed comfortable, and room spacious. We also liked having tea, coffee, water and some snacks available in the breakfast room at all times. Finally, the location was perfect for bus transportation: shuttle to the airport is about a 4 min walk, bus from Palermo and tour bus pick/up drop off was in front of the B & B.

We had a wonderful stay here. The owner was such a sweet person. We were offered a free breakfast. The room was updated and comfortable. We stayed one night. It’s very close to the bus and train station. We walked with our luggage and felt very safe. The room had a view off the balcony. We would definitely stay here again if using the Catania airport.

No one was there. It looked closed including old stuffed mail in downstairs area. We asked someone if there was a hotel in the building and they said they didn’t think so. We had to find a last minute available hotel.

Merci Roberta
