Dusty roads lead to it (all the cars were covered, not just ours) but it is worth the journey. Beautiful property, comfortable beds and accommodating staff, especially Angel.
We loved the location with its beautiful views. Food and service were excellent, better than most. We were glad the restaurant offered many choices because driving on those mountain roads after dark was not something we wanted to try. If I had to comment on a negative: Thank goodness we are average size. Anyone with a serious weight problem would not be able to fit in that very narrow shower stall.
I wish we could spend weeks here. This is a wonderful hotel with super attentive staff, a great restaurant, two pools, beautiful grounds. Borgo Scopeto has it all!
I liked their vinegar and was very unhappy when they had no more in stock to sell.
