We love coming to Carolina/Kure Beach! We stay as close to the Kure Beach pier as possible because we love to go fishing. There are plenty of places to eat in walking distance and if you go to Carolina beach at the boardwalk there is more shopping and places to eat! The only thing I find frustrating is that you have to pay to park almost everywhere you go! When we first started visiting the area it was not like this. There are a few places that offer free 30 min parking but there should be more of those to choose from. Sometimes we just want to go grab some doughnuts or something quick near the boardwalk and you have to pay $10 or more just to park. It’s honestly ridiculous.
