"Took awhile to figure out how to get in as there are two door codes, top one does not work. Must touch the lower keypad to activate. Remotes for the TVs took awhile to figure out. Kitchen was clean and beds were made upon arrival. Very close to the beach, but the jellyfish were plentiful while we were there so the pool was a good alternate to getting wet. Worth the money."

"We had a family vacation and had 5 rooms. They were all very clean, nice rooms. The views are wonderful from the balconies. We had a corner room on the 6th floor, and we will absolutely be asking for that room again. The lady who cleaned our room was fantastic. We had several children with us, and they tracked some sand in from the beach. She was very kind and cheerful, and cleaned everything up super well. I fully recommend this hotel to anyone traveling or staying in the area."

"We had no idea what to expect on this trip never having visited Carolina Beach previously. The whole trip was great! The Oceaneer was very nicely remodeled and modernized but had a chic style that wasn’t just another hotel chain property type vibe. The location on the beachfront was excellent and our room was nicely appointed. About the only negatives werr the fact that we didn’t have a microwave in the room and the gym air conditioner was not working and so it was super hot and stuffy in the room. I have to say though that the staff did allow us to leave the door open to let some air circulate in and the equipment itself was too notch for a hotel gym and all functioning appropriately. We will stay again in the future."
