"A good base from which to explore the Carmel region. This is a simple lodge with some great ideas. Breakfast was fresh and healthy. The shop had well priced original local products. The pool was clean and warm. The lodge is well placed for local restaurants and bars. I recommend this lodge to anyone who wants a unique stop over."

"The location offers great privacy. The lobby, bar, coffee shop, and pool area excellent. The buffet was great but you'll have to pay extra for omelets or other specialty dishes. Highly recommend. "

"I chose this hotel specifically because it advertised a hot tub and sauna across both its website and Expedia listing, including multiple photos. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was told by the front desk that both the hot tub and sauna have been closed for years. This was extremely disappointing, as those amenities were the main reason I booked this property over others in the area. This wasn’t a temporary issue or something out of the hotel’s control, it appears the listing has simply not been updated, which feels misleading. Aside from that, the stay itself was okay, but nothing standout. However, advertising amenities that don’t actually exist significantly impacts the overall experience and trust in the property. I would strongly recommend that the hotel update its listings immediately to accurately reflect what is and isn’t available so future guests can make informed decisions."
