"great location"

"Breakfast was ok it is clean and friendly but I have stayed in several locations in Carmel and like the charm but this is like any other hotel anywhere. Parking was great they had a parking lot so you don’t have to park on the street."

"Really enjoyed our stay here - lovely room with high quality furnishings and linen. The breakfast and happy hour were really great touches! Parking a bit tricky - small spaces and limited. Having said that, we always got parked! Great location in the centre of Carmel! Staff also super helpful arranging to post an item we accidentally left behind. We would absolutely stay again!"

"First time traveling to Carmel and exploring the area. This inn is perfect for close proximity to the downtown and the beach! And for a hike, point lobos is next door. Parking here can be a challenge but street parking is free as long as there are no time limits and no signs saying you can't park."

"While the staff was great and helpful, I feel like I lowkey got scammed because all the pictures from their website are very different from the actual room. The room had a picture of a ceiling fan but when we got to the room no ceiling fan. Had to call the front desk to bring us a regular floor fan. The bathroom door does shut because the door doesn’t fit the frame? I understand this place is a historic old time type of inn but at least have doors work properly. Still location was great close to...

"our room was facing the main road, it was very loud starting 4 AM. also the common fire pit that we saw and liked, was closed without notice. there we no other common spaces. we had plans of spending time with friends in family at the fire pit."

"Good location, good service, room is clean. "

"Great room"

"Several issues. Room wasn’t ready by check in time. Took about an additional hour, but no communication from the hotel staff. First night we were plagued by an infestation of small flies. Complained at the front desk next morning and they did send somebody from maintenance staff over. He came in an immediately identified the problem and where it was coming from, because apparently an ongoing issue."

"Great!"

"I did not know it was a resort when I booked the room. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, and all of the amenities on site. I was able to purchase a breakfast plan through Expedia that was much cheaper than paying there. The restaurant at the hotel serves good food and has great staff."

"Over all were good. Nice and clean. Two points of concern. Firstly breakfast area was cramped even when there were not many guests. Secondly light sensor in toilet was either set incorrectly or malfunctioning. It would shut down light every 30 seconds. It could not detect people inside shower room. We had to slide open shower door every 30 seconds or taking shower in complete darkness. If it happened only to our room then it should be fixed before we arrived. If it happened to all rooms then it...

"I found this cute motel for its super convenient location and walkable to everything. The beds are SO comfy! The room could use some cosmetic updates but for a nice place to sleep it worked well for us and our dog. We enjoyed our morning coffee in the courtyard. It’s a quiet, small town so there weren’t any noise issues. Parking is all around and there are a few spots in their lot but we found parking next to our door and never moved the car til we left. Thank you for a great stay! We will be...
