"We booked hotel due to the beautiful way it was depicited on the internet. Everything looked very glamous & holiday resort like giving the impression it was just one appartment block with a huge pool. However when we arrived it was far from glamous!! It's a large area of very run down appartment blocks with no street lighting. "We have just returned from a four night stay at Pierre & Vacances Residence Bleu at Lacanau Ocean. My husband, our dog and I stayed in a ground floor one bedroom apartment. It was very small, dark and very tired though clean and well organised. We found no access to the wifi and had to contact reception during its very limited hours; we were told we needed to have a ‘wifi box’ to access it and had to go to reception to pick it up.
