Terrible experience

Someone come to my room. And The stranger use a toilet. My sister and me come back to room, We saw that toilet cover up. But my sister and me never up toilet cover. Its horrible and terrible experience. I sent a mail to hotel. But they dont reply. I dont recommend this hotel.

Appartement 304 St Georges au 3 étage, point positif :belle superficie de 65 m2,proche centre ville et des activités,gardien présent pour votre sécurité. Point negatif: 3 ème étage sur rue très bruillante jour et nuit, l'agence de location sur place contact difficile on ne peut les joindre par mail ,caution de 5000R et non de 1000R comme prevu, pas inventaire a la fin de votre séjour donc prendre ses precautions(photos)

Frustrated in Cape Town.

Communication was a real problem. Confirming arrival time had to be done multiple times as they didn't seem to register. They make the check in time later than I wanted and I had to wait around. Then the host didn't show, I had to phone, costing lots as I hadn't bought a local sim yet. She had been told a 2 hour later check in than was agreed. While they say they have free wifi, it didn't get sorted for 3 days, it wasn't done by password but by using MAC addresses so had to be set up. This could and should have been done in advance so that any issues could be dealt with by the host but it wasn't. Again, we spend loads of money using data until we could buy a local sim. Also, only 2 devices could be connected. We only got one set of keys even though 2 of us were staying there. As we often were' together, that was really difficult. On check out we arrange for a late check out and for cleaners to arrive at noon. They turned up an hour early having not been told about our late check out. The room was very comfortable and clean and in a really central location.

Zentral gelegenes Appartement

Tagsüber ist die St. Georges Mall ( Fußgängerzone) geschäftig und die Strandstreet stark befahren. Nachts ist es sehr ruhig. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten des Stadtzentrums sind in Gehdistanz. Nachts empfiehlt sich ein Taxi, auch zu nahe gelegenen Zielen.

Não é hotel, é um apartamento

Descobrimos, depois de termos fechado, que não era hotel, era um apartamento para alugar. Até aí tudo bem, mas Expedia poderia deixar isso bem mais claro na hora de oferecer o lugar. Também não fica claro que, além do custo indicado para alugar o apto, há um depósito das chaves a se fazer, não reembolsável, e um outro, tipo cheque calção, com devolução posterior (ainda aguardamos o reembolso desse depósito). O apto está muito bem localizado, no centro de Cape Town e é bem confortável. Pontos negativos: o wi-fi nunca funcionou e não tem cortinas para black-out, então a luz vaza logo cedo de manhã.
