"On July 23rd, the fire alarm went off, unknown to us there was a high level of carbon monoxide in one of the residents rooms. We were let back in to our rooms after an hour, after all the rooms were checked. After I got back to my room after being out all afternoon, I found a gift bag in my room with a beautiful note of apology for the disruption. In my opinion, the staff went over and above"

I did not like having to pay $20 for 1pm check in. Really?

"We really found this hotel to be very nice! The bed, sheets, pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast (i had read)was disappointing, however we found it to have been well stocked and although the breakfast area got congested, it was quite sufficient. Pool indoor and outdoor. Surprisingly very quiet although it was full. Felt safe. We were very pleased. I would stay there again. "
"The hotel didn't seem like much from the outside but it was great! Rooms were very up to date and clean. Window on each side gave a nice cross breeze and AC worked really well. Pools were great. Staff was friendly. Would absolutely stay here again!"

"Had a wonderful stay. Rooms are very clean. Decor has a nostalgic feel, they kept the character of the room while renovating and it has a lot of charm. Soft and comfortable bedding, as well as quiet and extremely efficient air conditioning. Owner was very welcoming and responsive. Nice touch having coffee and delicious pastries in the mornings. The grounds are also maintained very well with nice plantings. Definitely stay here."
