We had a good time at the Zafiro Cala Mesquida hotel with the family. Everything is available for kids to have fun and enjoy their meals. The pools and proximity to the beach was great! The rooms were large and comfortable. The only downside is that we didn't feel as if we were in Spain. I would have loved a little bit more of the Spanish culture and language. Also the restaurant closes at 9pm which we felt was a little bit early.

Glückliche Kinder und erholte Eltern

Wir haben uns nach der langen Corona-Zeit einen erholsamen Urlaub mit unseren drei Kindern (1-9 Jahre) erhofft und auch bekommen. Wir haben das Essen, die Unterhaltung, den Strand, die Pools, einfach alles sehr genossen und sind nun nach 1 Woche entspannt und erholt zurück im Alltag. Wir können das Hotel zu 100 % für Familien mit Kindern empfehlen!

Mi estancia fue satisfactoria es un hotel agradable, que tiene todo para pasar una agradables vacaciones, el desayuno es bueno y las habitaciones están muy bien. En la mía había una especie de hormiguero , que me tuvo a mal traer , especialmente cuando las hormigas se te quedaban en la ropa. La nota negativa fue que por un error involuntario en mi itinerario me quedaba pasar por recepción a agregar un día más de estadía, ya que había decidió quedarme un día más , y no pase .llegó la hora y se contactó conmigo Tomeu Sans y de mala manera, me obligó abandonar la habitación, pese que le dije salgo ya mismo para ahí, para arreglar la situación. Me dijo primero abandone la habitación, que la necesito para limpieza en 10 minutos ,y después venga a arreglar la noche . Todo de un modo incorrecto,en malos términos,

Great family holiday

Excellent family holiday, cleaning, bar and restaurant staff very friendly and polite especially under challenging circumstances. Hotel complex was extremely clean throughout our stay and the food and drinks were very good. The resort is small and friendly with only three hotels that we found, very short walk to the beach, which was really nice A spar shop, pharmacy and doctors in resort with an Italian restaurant Only negative we found is that there was no food available after the restaurant closed in the evening, not even for snacks

Great for families

All good at Zafiro Cala M.! We stayed in a „premium aptmt. pool side“, which makes resort distances short. However, next time we would consider „swim-up“, which has ocean views and a pool in front. In mid Oct. pools have been chilly (for adults), but the ocean was still pleasant. Setup of the resort (same goes for neighboring Viva) is well thought - one side is beautiful dunes and hills (good trail-running).

Vorab: Wir haben dort niemanden gesehen OHNE Kinder. Das ist also eine Familienanlage! Ausschließlich darauf ausgelegt. Das aber sehr gut. Zimmer neuwertig und sauber. Für Hotelverhältnisse sehr gute Matratzen! Unsere Töchter (4 und 8) fanden beide Badebereiche super: Piratenschiff und Springballbecken. Das Essen ist für so eine große Ablage sehr gut, abwechslungsreich und frisch gewesen. Wirklich sehr gut organisiert! Tolle Nähe zum Meer, wo ein öffentlicher Strand mit schönem Sand und klarem Wasser wartet. 10 Euro mit dem Taxi nach Cala Radjada, wenn man mal ein paar Geschäfte braucht. Personal sehr nett. Publikum war zu 80% deutsch. Insgesamt wurde gut mit Essen umgegangen (im Gegensatz zu anderen Urlauben, wo Touristen Unmengen Essen nehmen und dann nicht essen und alles aussieht wie S...!) Kritikpunkte: Die Zimmer werden nur alle zwei Tage gemacht. Finde ich zu wenig für einen Sommerurlaub! Die Animation ist mittelmäßig und nervt mit täglich den gleichen 30 Minuten zu Beginn! Auch die Minidisco um 17 Uhr am Pool ist ohne Anwechslung gestaltet und technisch oft fehlerhaft. Musikausetzer etc., schon seltsam, wenn etwas täglich stattfindet. Da erwarte ich mehr Routine bei den Animateuren. Aber insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert! Bitte Bedenken bei Bustransfer: Ist sehr weit vom Flughafen entfernt. Wir haben mehr als 2 Stunden im Bus gesessen.

Mehrere Gebäude verteilen sich in einer schön angelegten Poollandschaft. Ruhe findet man vor allem an den Relax-Pools. Die Animation spielt sich eher an Spaß-/Kinderpools ab. Das All-Inclusive Angebot ist Klasse. Toll fanden wir auch, dass Dir Schwimmschule Sharky vor Ort Einzelunterricht und die Abnahme der Jugendschwimmabzeichen anbietet. Wir haben dieses Angebot für unseren Sohn genutzt und können es nur empfehlen. Die Schwimmlehrerinnen waren super motiviert und können den Kindern in kürzester Zeit verschiedenen Schwimmtechniken mit viel Spaß beibringen.

We stayed here for a week with a 5 and 7 year old and it was perfect. We paid for a swim up room which was definitely worth it. All swim up rooms have a garden with hammock and sun beds and a gate directly onto a shared pool. The swim up rooms also have the most gorgeous sea view. Our room was very spacious with everything you needed. We were in Block 8 which led out onto an adult only pool (which isn’t adult only at all as all people including children from swim up rooms could use it). The food at the main buffet was ok for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but we weren’t told you could eat at the pool bar or by the stage and choose something from the menu for lunch every day which is included in the all inclusive as well. We found that out by chance. The location is about an hour and a half drive from the airport direct. My advice would be to get a taxi or hire a car as transfers which include other hotels can take 2 1/2 hours! The kids club ran 1 hour sessions throughout the day which your children could attend for different activities. All in all, an excellent holiday and we will definitely use Zafiro again! Thank you

Great hotel in nature

Great hotel in nature close to a great beach. Very good for families. It is located in the calm part of the island. The only comments I have is frequency of the room cleaning which is every second day and almost useless WiFi. Also safe is small - not for notebook or tablet.
