"First of all let me say how lovely and welcoming Bryan was. I had issues with the code system to get in and out of the hotel, I had to wait outside for a while before Bryan was back at reception because the code wouldn’t work for me. I got a physical key card instead to rectify this issue. The TV wasn’t working in my room and Bryan had to come and fix it for me. Generally the vibe felt a little flimsy. But honestly Bryan makes up for anything the hotel lacks, he’s a gem. "

"This is NOT a 4 sater hotel, expect a 3 star hotel with a 4 star location. I will add that the front desk is incredibly rude and inconsiderate. My wife and I have traveld the world and a lot in Europe. We have found a common thread in Catalonia, not just at this property. People here a generally rude and aggresive. People in the service industries who make their living from the tourist trade, seem very inconvenienced by it all and bothered that you exist. Rude treatement from a front desk clerk in this part of the world is a common occurance, so don't let it get to you. Costa Brava is beautiful beyond compare, just be prepared for the other part...."

"My wife fell coming in the entrance and lacerated her calf and heal quite severely. Staff directed us to the first aid station at the beach across the street from the hotel. First Aid station stopped the bleeding and directed us to nearby clinic. REALLY POOR CONSIDERATION FOR AN INJURED GUEST. I paid for taxi service to and from clinic. Hotel DID NOT EVEN BOTHER TO CALL THE ROOM TO CHECK ON WIFE’s status. "

Each time I went to order something they looked irritated, as if serving was a bother. A smile and some basic courtesy would have made a big difference. • Room: The room itself was extremely basic. The sockets didn’t work properly, which was frustrating when I needed to charge my phone. The view was of the car park, not exactly the Spanish escape I had hoped for. • Overall feel: It all felt a bit neglected and impersonal. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but in this case I felt let down. Girona is a beautiful city, but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless improvements are made. "
