This is a five hundred year old building so don't expect a Premier inn with nice even floors and shiny paintwork, however if you want a pub hotel with real character this place is a gem. Every member of staff was great and couldn't do enough to make the stay perfect. Unfortunately we didn't get to have a meal there but the breakfast is absolutely worth getting up for. We will be back. "

"Having stayed at the Oyster Fleet Hotel on several occasions. I found the hotel in a great place for travelling out and around Canvey Island. It has nice clean rooms and comfortable beds, which are well presented on your arrival. Having tea and coffee making facilities in the room. With an onsite bar and dining facilities in the bar makes for a comfortable stay. This along with on site free parking along with disabled parking bays. The staff are very helpful and polite, making the hotel have a good all around atmosphere."
