"It right on the beach, but parking is questionable at the very least. If you are not using valet, your self parking in a shady garage. The hotel itself was just ok, and right next to train tracks with trains passing quite frequently. I wanted to like the place more, but it’s average. It does the job if you’re only using the place to sleep. Staff is great though. Everyone was very friendly. "

"This is a great location as you can walk all around downtown Ventura for touring and meals. The room is large and comfortable. The breakfast was really great. We did not turn on the TV once for our six-year-old grandson!"

"This property was disappointing. You can expect $12 a day parking. No free breakfast and the menu is rather pricey. Example: $13 for a breakfast sandwich. My room's screen door for the patio was off its hinges. The door you shut for restroom privacy needed to be shaved because it would get stuck. You'd have to grab the top of the door and pull down hard so it would open for you. The beds were very soft which would hurt our backs. Staff was friendly so that was positive. I'd try holiday inn next door next time to see if it fairs any better. "

"I'm a senior adult and I was actually a little worried about the area at first but I think it was fine in the end. The building needs some refreshing as far as the structure goes. Interior was fine for the reputation that motel 6 has. Lots of working class people, should have better options."

"The breakfast was tiny but the staff very nice, we changed rooms 3 times, we have never changed rooms in our lives, beds bad, TVs that didn't work, avoid room 124, terrible bed and backs up to the homeless sleeping in the park, my back will never be the same but the staff was awesome"

"Funky little roadside motel. Park right next to your room. Simple no frills but clean and comfortable. If youre just looking for a place to crash and go its perfect"

"As soon as I walked in it was bad, it was smelly, the curtain had a zip tide, there was no screen on the window, when I needed a towel there was nobody around, the front office was locked, I tried getting a refund but it was denied, I spoke with a person on hotels.com and said he can put $75 on key cash and that has not even been inputted, terrible service from the place and also hotels.com"
