  • Let me preface these discoveries by saying that I ended up in Calella haphazardly. It is not necessarily a town that I would generally recommend. It is not your traditional Spanish/Catalan dream destination. It very much looks like something the 70's spit out and no one ever bothered to clean up. With that said, I freaking love this little freakish town, which I quickly & affectionately nicknamed "The Twilight Zone." The strangest occurrences happened throughout the month, yes MONTH, I lived in Calella. Apparently since the 70's, Calella, was a booming tourist destination for Western Europeans and the British. It has been on a massive decline over the past decade. What's left behind though are some fun Dutch and English/Irish pubs, a small welcoming expat community, and one of the most incredible beaches you will ever lay your eyes on. Beautiful clean white sand for miles and crystal clear turquoise water. Parties & bars on the beach, some free concerts in the summer time and of course drinking it allowed as well. If you happen to find yourself here, you must stop in at Beach Boys Club, tell the owners, Brian & Cathy, that Amber sent you. Then hit up Brian for his secret stash of American imported Budweiser (Did you know the bottled stuff is always produced in country? Brian believes the secrets in the water, so he gets the cans from the US. Brian is British, which makes this little story even better.) Also, be prepared to eat a lot of rotisserie chicken.

J'ai vraiment bien aimé, l'accueil était très sympa, le logement Propre équipé c'est juste que la poêle était abîmé ça crame la nourriture et la porte qui faisait beaucoup de bruit à part ça , le reste était parfait rien à dire, je vous conseille Casablanca, vous allez adorer.👍

Remarcar sobre todo la amabilidad y trato de la chica de recepción. A nuestra llegada teníamos la habitación preparada, con la calefacción encendida. El apartamento muy cuidado y muy acogedor.

Hyvin varusteltu huoneisto hotelli

Huoneemme parveke oli osa isoa kattoterassia, jossa oli mukava oleskella. Huone oli siisti ja hyvässä kunnossa. Huoneessa oli hyvin varusteltu keittiö ja iso jääkaappi. Huoneessa oli myös tallekelokero jonka sai vuokrata. Sijainti oli hyvä, kaupat ja ranta lähellä. Hotellin yhteydessä oli myös erittäin hyvä steakhouse. Hotellin henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällisiä. Ainoana miinuksena oli hankalasti sulkeutuva huoneen ovi, joka otti lattiaan kiinni.
