"Very convenient location in west end. Nothing fancy but everything we needed. Our room did have a cat odor in it and the bathrooms could use a good grout cleaning. Everything else was clean. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast in the coffee shop was excellent! We would stay here again!"

"Staff was amazing, beach could use some work and as da as amenities there are non, it’s to far out from anything but they have someone who is great at providing options for tours and experiences on the island. "

"Air conditioning was great room ...was tiny with 2 twin beds, but I got the value room. Definitely, not the pictures presented on internet Those presented are the standard room... had a refrigerator which was amazing.. The towels were lovely.The bed was great to...I bring my own pillow, so no problem there.. Super clean property is next to a chinese restaurant, a hamburger place and a gas station that has pizza and subs.. But my big problem, the only problem, which made me lose one star, was the fact that the hot water 15 minutes in was non-existent.. She told me mine was the only room that that happens in.But definitely, I just needed to wait a little longer.But standing there, holding my hand out under the water for 5 minutes was long enough but not.. Had to jump in and take a pretty cold shower...otherwise for price and Roatan 5 stars... Just one more thing, it's $30 US by cab To get there from the airport.."

"I spent my 50th birthday at Puerto Azul. The staff was attentive kind and made my day very special helped. My husband surprise me several times during the day. The staff is very sweet and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable the bed and the pillows were as good as mine at home so I had a very nice rest every night and every morning woke up to the beautiful ocean outside my door. The staff arranged for flowers and a sign wishing me a happy birthday in the morning when I was at breakfast I came back to a big surprise then they arranged a sunset cruise for me and then that evening they baked a cake for me.I couldn’t have asked for a more special birthday. The food in the restaurant is amazing and you’ll learn on the second day that you can’t beat the food that is just steps away from you. The restaurant was a definite added bonus. The dock just steps from your room that takes you right out over the reef is amazing. We hung out a lot just in the hammocks reading taking a dip putting on our snorkel gear and snorkeling around. You can see plenty of fish right at the dock or you can swim out a few feet to the coral reef. Amazing place."

"Great value . We had a nice clean room, from our door the ocean was in full sight, and twenty seconds away. Would definitely stay there again, and feel comfortable recommending to a friend."

"The place itself is fairly nice. Fairly inconvenient having to check-in elsewhere and get to and from the front desk, but not a big deal. My issue is the property has tons of cameras and I do believe my wallet was taken from the desk in my room while I was sleeping. My fault for incorrectly locking the door when I got in to the room for the night. My issue is the place has cameras everywhere, boss was there and he refused to actually check the cameras to see if anything happened. He knew I was leaving that morning and he clearly avoided it. Gave me no help and asked why I didn't have it in the safe or maybe I misplaced it. I am back home now and emailed the property during daytime hours 9 hours ago. Still no reply. Seems as though they're hiding what happened to my wallet. 10/10 would not recommend "
