We only stayed 1 night, value for money was great & it was close to lots of places to eat & Woolworths was across the road - little bit old / tired but for a short stay would definately recommend, they also did breakfast on the balcony for $10 which was great

You get what you pay for so I truly can’t complain. Only downsides were the room was a decent hike from the elevator and our room didn’t come with a blanket, the bed just had a sheet on it so we had to walk down to the lobby to request a blanket. I also requested extra towels on the first night of our stay and the woman at the desk told me they didn’t have any clean towels at all, which I found strange. Otherwise though, the room got the job done and we loved the location of the place. We were able to walk to everything and we also appreciated the brochures in the hotel lobby to assist us with planning excursions. All in all, I would say it’s definitely worth what you pay for!!

Where the hotel certainly needs some TLC it is in a great location , close to so much , bars , restaurants , tour operators , cruise terminal and more . The staff couldn’t be more helpful .

Hides had an exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. You can order the continental breakfast there, or just sit on the veranda, eating your yogurt from woolies. Super walkable area.

Great central location. The room price reflected the condition. Fan was hanging off the ceiling the aircon was hardly working and super noisy so didnt get much sleep. The place is very tired could do with renovations being done but its in a fantastic central location and cheap compared to other hotels so just depends on what you want for your stay. We were happy to be able to walk to everything.
