Spacious studio room ideal for longer stay Luggage rack separate dining table area smart tv light bright clean room with ground floor direct access to pool secure parking area and plenty of staff on hand for any assistance The in house restaurant is excellent and there are a small supermarket liquor shop and take away foods just a block away on the main road or easy flat walk along the esplanade to city centre The friendly relaxed staff were the best feature of the hotel making for a pleasant stay Thank you Will stay again

Though we were there for only one night, the location was ideal before we headed north to Port Douglas. We were able to enjoy a quick meal at Fin,Fin and then head to our room. The bed was comfortable and firm, which suited us.

Ideal for my 1 night stay close to Cairns airport only a £10 taxi ride which considering there’s no public transport it’s ideal. Hotel is a little older so facilities are a little dated but overall very cleans comfortable. Eat at the Thai restaurant at the hotel great food.

I liked the spacious room and the lovely outdoor pool. I liked how it was convenient to the waterfront, only 1 block away. The only slight drawback was the bed was two singles pushed together so the middle of it was uncomfortable.

Location is central, very basic and good value for very basic amenities. However no hot water in the shower in our room, no toaster in the room and the bedroom had no power point for my wife’s CPAP machine. The staff were very helpful with providing an extension cord. Beds very uncomfortable. Great customer service and a Thai restaurant located at ground floor of hotel.

Average stay

This is an older hotel. Close to the beach but in a low end neighborhood and a bit rough. Rooms are big and spacious but AC could only cool a small area. Bathroom floors are slippery if wet. Not really a budget hotel for the price but is a budget hotel.

A pleasant hotel in the northern part of Cairns. Decor is a bit dated but we had a clean and spacious room. The noise from next doors shower would suggest the walls are thin. The on-site restaurant Finn Finn serves authentic Thai food and is recommended.

Location was perfect for my purposes, and price was affordable. Overall room presentation was clean and comfortable if showing some age. As with all humid locations, attention to mould in the bathroom could be better, but evrrything else spotless.
