The Hey Hotel

"The rooms were nice and spacious, and the common areas were very nice. The hotel appears to have had a recent renovations and is a short walk from the Interlaken West train station and close to local bus stops. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the AC in the rooms did not work well, effectively no AC. We had two rooms and each had similar issues - perhaps bad luck. Apart from this, a great place to stay."

"We had two modern air conditioned rooms with balconies. One of the rooms was on the corner and had a great view of the street and mountains behind it, Our rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the location, a short walk from the train station, was perfect. We would definitely stay here again!"

"This is a beautiful old hotel located a short distance from the Interlaken Ost station. It suffers from its age, however, Small elevators. No apparent air conditioning and spotty wifi in the rooms. The staff was very helpful and the hotel is popular with international guests. It's a good jumping off point for visits to nearby hamlets in the region."

"Love the central location of interlaken. The drive to many tourist locations were nicely convenient. Quiet during the night and we loved the 5th floor with ac would highly recommend if first time in Switzerland! Clean rooms, staff was great and perfect location!"

"This hotel is really nice as is like staying at a museum just like it is stated it's a luxury vintage Hotel, very friendly staff. I loved the place, only thing missing like most hotels in Switzerland was the air conditioning as it was super hot this summer and they should upgrade. Loved it was really close to the train station for location convenience. The exterior was absolutely well maintained and the interior was being worked on as well. I would stay here again if A/C is installed. (fans were provided) overall great hotel"

"Absolutely stunning place!! The owners and the staff were amazing helpful and kind. The place is spot less because they are cleaning it all the time. Breathtaking views of the lake, and amazing delicious breakfast to start the day off. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We can’t wait to go back!! Thank you Peter and Shiva Michel for your hospitality!! We made a mistake to go with our luggage to the hotel from Ringgenberg train station, the google direction will take you behind the hotel where there are many steps to climb down, best way is to take the bus from Interlaken OST and there are no steps. The most convenient public transport will be boat, as it drop you steps away from the hotel entrance but boat schedules end with 4pm latest departure. We took Uber on the way back to the Interlarken Ost as we didn’t want to haul our bags up the hill. Uber and Uber Eats are easy available."
