"This is a great place, dog friendly. However there are 2 things people should know before they go. #1 there is a $40.00 per night fee for having pets that wasn't previously disclosed. #2 you are not allowed to leave your dog unsupervised in the room at any time. This means that if you go to the store your friend is going with you! Otherwise it is in a wonderful location close to the national park and walkable to downtown."

"Such a family-friendly hotel in such a convenient location. Literally minutes from downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Our room was spacious and clean. They offered so many unique amenities and activities - everything from a great breakfast to a make-your-own-trail mix station. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Only heads up I’d give is that the fridges in the rooms are more for chilling beverages, and don’t necessarily go low enough in temp to store all food safely. Would recommend to plan around that when you visit! Otherwise a perfect stay. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to Acadia! "
