"Very nice staff, a staff from Hong Kong who works overnight shift at the front introduced me a lot of restaurants, spots and highlights in Vancouver. There are different tours which are free and held by the hostel. Nice and huge common area and open kitchen to cook. The washrooms are generally clean too. Overall, pretty good experience to stay there, and it is in a very convenient location. Just one thing to mention, if there is a lock for the locker in the room that will be perfect. "

"Rooms are clean, and the hotel has so much character. I stay here at least once a year. Eddie who works the front desk is a legend!! I heard him on the phone with Expedia fighting for a refund for a guest who wasn't able to arrive because of ferry cancellations. All the front staff are friendly and helpful. The location is perfect to walk to downtown or to Dallas Road. Just remember, no AC in summer!"
