"Host and staff are excellent, friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and quiet, its a shame that it is only the bathroom that has view of the river. The old pub where you can get drinks, lovely food and a nice atmosphere is in need of some work, but Im guessing that is something they are looking at. Lots of free parking and a great location to experience what the area has on offer. "

"The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained with good decor. The bathroom had a powerful shower and enough room around the basin for your wash bags. Lighting in the bathroom is always an issue for me (!) so as usual I had my mirror on the window sill in search of natural light. We ate in the pub on the first night, sharing a platter. Good menu. My partner sampled the local beer and was pleased he did. Although a full breakfast was on offer we just had a yoghurt & some toast. The toast tasted slightly fish flavoured??? It was a trip visiting family, the location was good and we would stay there again."
