"A very classy and upscale hotel with a view of ice capped mountains from the room. To top that we had a cabin which was very modern with a decent breakfast spread. The hotel shares the property with a golf course and is about 8 mins away from Borgarnes. Highly recommended."

We didn’t make use of the amenities despite them being a major selling point… we were too comfy and exhausted from a long day exploring and hiking. "This was the nicest place we stayed on our 11 day trip this year. The staff was very welcoming and the "apartment" room was fully set up with a kitchen, refrigerator, wonderful bed and private bath. The parking was right outside and the owner herself welcomed and showed me the room. Hope to be by again someday!"
