Great first drive after landing in Reykjavík. We had a family room with large windows overlooking water and mountains… beautiful! Super comfy mattresses. Great to have a private bath and kitchen. Friendly staff!

We felt home at this property and really love it! Good surprise to find it so roomy when we checked in. It’s our 10th day, the 9th accommodation in our ring road trip. It’s 1 of 2 our most love. Highly recommend!

This is a series of independent cottages (i.e. trailer homes) in excellent condition. Great for small families. Close and convenient to the city, but quiet and near a horse farm. Checking in was simple- it consisted of driving to the reception desk, seeing my name posted on the door with my assigned cottage. Everything worked well and we were quite comfortable. Parked within feet of the door for easy loading/unloading of our stuff. Would stay there again in the future.

Really enjoyed this property. The view is amazing. The accommodations, something akin to a mobile trailer, were clean and very comfortable. Only criticisms: 1) the shower was missing its shower door which resulted in us being very careful so as not to wet the outside floor and; 2) there were no blackouts. I could not find my eye mask and with 24-7 daylight, this was an issue.

Great location & views - room a bit “tired”

Room was spacious and you could back right up to the door which was a dream on our last night for packing and cleaning out the rental car. Location is great. Views are 12/10!!!!! The room was a bit “tired” in spots. For example the bathroom door was warped from water running out of the shower. The countertop next to the sink was also warped from water. I would have appreciated tea bags or coffee being provided - but are there gas stations close by heading both North & South where you can pick up a cup - so it’s not the end of the world.

Nice and Convenient for Us

Really, things were pretty good. We liked the location and I enjoyed my run on the horse trail. "Room with a view" would have been pretty accurate on the other side of the building. Our view was of farm equipment and a bus. That wasn't a huge problem really. The host asks that windows and doors stay closed (to keep out insects) and that temperature on thermostat not be adjusted. However, we were so utterly uncomfortable because it was soooo hot in the room. Sorry, but we had to break the rules or else we wouldn't have been able to sleep at all. No insects got inside, though. Overall, we'd stay there again as long as we could keep the room cool. It was nice and clean, and very easy to self-checkin.

Excellent stay and nice location.

Very nice location, we late checked in but he provided proper instruction and leave the cottage # and name on office door. stove top is working fine and we cooked Pasta in the room. It was really nice stay worth of the Money.

Great place, far away from everything, so buy from a store what you want because no grocery store in radius of 50-60 km. Because it is distant from lights we managed to see the Northern lights for the first time there :)

Very nice cabin. Do get groceries ahead of time in Borgarnes because there isn’t a store or restaurant nearby. We ate dinner in town because we were late in arriving. Beds were comfortable; kitchen was well stocked.

We tried to reach the apartment via email and phone. Phone number is not correct. Nobody ever answered our email. There is self check in and you can come whenenver you want but i you don't habe that information, it really annouing. Bathroom and kitchen equipment was dirry.

Nice clean room with bathroom and kitchenette. Somewhat out of town and difficult to find, but if you’re traveling by car it’s worth the search. They could do with a better sign at the road. I don’t think we could find it in the dark.

While the little cabins were like mobile homes, the rooms were partitioned in a big barn/warehouse. Very thin walls and cheap overall. Four of these rooms (ours included) looked out over a yard filled with metal parts and pallets etc. Someone started using a fork lift truck to move pallets of sod around at about 10pm, which was very noisy...

Cottage was a stand alone unit with a front deck. Gorgeous view from the deck and kitchen window of the mountains. We were also lucky that a pony paddock came up near our cottage, and our kids loved to see two Icelandic ponies hanging out near us. Cottage was clean and roomy (I thought the kids would be on a sofa bed but they had a separate bedroom). The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking. The only thing that I would have wished for (and this is really minor) would be two potholders, but the drying towel worked fine instead.

The property is in shambles, our room smelled like an ashtray. Our son is hyper allergenic and there was no place for him to sleep. This is a trailer park they try to pass off as cottages. The hot tub had vines and weeds growing on it and the owner never responded to our phone calls or text messages.
