​Subject: A peaceful and beautifully maintained riverside escape ​We had a very pleasant stay at Rio Verde. If you are looking for a tranquil getaway, this is a wonderful choice. ​The Highlights: ​Serene Atmosphere: The area is incredibly peaceful, and having the river running directly behind the property added a lovely, calming soundtrack to our stay. ​Stunning Grounds: It is clear that a lot of care goes into the property; the grounds are beautifully curated and a joy to walk through. ​Excellent Communication: We experienced a short power outage during our visit, but the hotel staff handled it perfectly. Their communication was proactive and excellent, which made the minor inconvenience much easier to manage. ​Overall, a lovely experience. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Boquete! The place was spotless — super clean, cozy, and much bigger than expected. It had everything we needed, including all electric appliances, which made our stay super comfortable. We felt very safe the entire time, and the self check-in process was smooth and convenient. Couldn’t expect anything less from Alejandro Villa — truly a fantastic host. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Boquete!

Very tranquil, quiet and relaxing location. Private patio, walkable to get to one restaurant but a bit too far to the town ok case of rain but Uber or taxi is reasonable.

Beautiful landscape away from main street crowds and noise. A short walk from The Rock restaurant which was excellent. Some neighborhood roosters where noisy early but that is part of Panama. Staff was excellent and very accommodating.

The 2 man-made Waterfalls and streams flowing throughout the property and the large stream behind gave a similar sound to a fast flowing brook.. There is a variety of very good affordable restaurants within driving distance in town. Also the higher end Rock dining experience for wine and food lovers is within a short walk from Rio Verde.

I LOVED this hotel BUT we never saw a single staff member in our 2 night stay. Check in and check out was done virtually. Upload all your information and they will send you your unit and code. Unfortunately with travelling I missed that info. It did say they had check in during regular hours so I didn’t worry about anything. Until we are sitting in the lot in the rain trying to upload and fill out forms on my phone. Response wasn’t immediate. I tried calling the number a couple times and no answer. Emailed and messaged via Expedia numerous times . We actually walked next door to Destino restaurant and enjoyed a fabulous dinner while we waited for their «virtual agent» to respond. Once in the room we were happy with the cabin. Beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting. Out of town enough to feel peaceful. Was a little disappointed with the «hottie» as it was actually a jacuzzi tub on the deck that you have to fill with water. It was chilly and so didn’t use it because I didn’t want to wait to fill it. So I would consider staying there again and would give a better rating if we could deal with real people. I didn’t book any tours with them either because it was all with a QR code online. There wasn’t enough effort on their part to warrant the extra business so went into town and booked at a tour company in person! Side note…if you do choose to stay, eat next door at Destino. Great food and drinks. Great service! Lovely staff! REAL PEOPLE!

I stayed a couple of nights at this hotel and really enjoyed it. My room was more like a studio apartment that had a small kitchenette to cook your own food. This is located outside of Boquete by five minutes and you would need a car, but the grounds are very well kept and the area is quiet. You can buy groceries at Romero in Boquete and cook at home, which is a nice alternative from eating out all the time. Check-in was easy and fast.

What an absolutely gorgeous hotel. The surroundings were amazing - a small stream running outside our room, a beautiful fountain, dozens of hummingbirds (and frogs!). The rooms themselves were perfect with an extremely well-equiped kitchen, a comfortable bed and a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and stream. The staff were so helpful and friendly. If you have a chance, go for a massage - it was heavenly. It was a couple of minutes outside of Boquete so convenient, but also very quiet and serene. I couldn't recommend more highly.

This is an area right next to the mountain and gets a lot of dampness and from the forest, it was the windy season and that was also a factor. As a result our room was damp, cool and could have used some heat (which they don't have). The grounds and rooms were nice, fit and finish lacking, but staff tried their best and were friendly. We cut our visit short by 4 days and refunds were not possible. Power was out for a couple hours our first night stay. We did find a more enjoyable spot about 20 min away in Caldera (warmer and dryer)
