Super friendly vibes in the reception area, always people hanging out, was great for me as a solo traveler, and no issues with noise when it came time to sleep. "Always an amazing experience at this hotel. Spacious rooms, extremely helpful staff. Great food. And of course the elephant experiences. The hotel had to react to the government disallowing elephant rides, and they added several new experiences. A few things such as the light switches, AC control etc. are a bit aged by now, but that doesn't take away from the overall top rating."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Puri Gangga Resort in Ubud! Eventhough it is not far from shops, it is luxury hidden in the hills with beautiful views of tropical forest. We very much liked the way they had decorated the hotel with quality buildings, ancient statues, fountains and antique furniture. We loved the food. We had amazing breakfast and dinners. They even cooked the tenderloins correctly. We had a number of very effective, professional massages. My long term foot injury finally started improving!"
