"Travelled to Bologna with family including a toddler for work. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was nice but small. Comfortable bed and nice sheets. Good sized bathroom. Breakfast was included and had lots of options. Very close to Bologna Fiere and restaurants, Aldi and parks. "

"Clean room! very practical to go to the airport. Carpet in common areas a little run out and could be replaced. There is a shuttle to/from the airport. Just take into consideration that there is no bus between noon and 9pm from the airport to the hotel (don't know why) "

"Enjoyed our start at the Royal Hotel Carlton. The proximity to the Central train station was convenient for our arrival from Florence as well as our departure to the airport the next day. It’s also a 15 min walk from the Piazza Maggiore which made it easy to explore Bologna for the day we were there."

"Was a issue with the traffic zone behind the hotel , the link that was sent didn't open so we went into a limited traffic zone and received a fine , lady at check in was kind of rude to this fact but it is what it is "

"The room is a dormitory room. The bed had no box spring, just a thin mattress on a platform. The bidet is in the shower. The walls and ceiling are covered with burlap. The staff was rude and unhelpful. You can hear the movie theatre next door in your room. We left early even thought the room was fully paid and non-refundable."
