A wonderful place to stay in Bologna. Check-in was easy and my room was clean and very comfortable. The location was fantastic - easy access to public transportation and within walking distance of all the major attractions.

Centrally located with many options for shopping, museums, historical churches and dining within walking distance . Eduardo was a great host attentive to needs. Only drawback was the stairs up after the elevator which was tough with our luggage after our trip but we managed.

Casa Isolani

We stayed in the most extraordinary room I have ever seen. All four windows overlooked the rooftops of Bologna. The light at all hours was like a painting. The remote control shades gave you control of the amount of light you experienced. It was complely private but you could see the cathedrals and towers unobstructed. The staff was minimal but very helpful and gracious. The linens were clean and high quality. An extraordinary place.

Unique with amazing views

It is a unique but cool place to stay. Our room, top of tower had amazing 360 degree views of Bologna There are many stairs to climb so consider this when choosing. If stairs are not an issue then we highly recommend. Great location.

Just back from an excellent three days in Bologna. Accommodation location is top drawer, right on the heart of Bologna, everything within east walking reach. Really private location and perfect for couples. Owners very helpful and friendly and 100% professional. Will recommend to family and friends without hesitation. Thank you.

This was definitely a unique property. It is in a very old building, located right in the piazza, with lots of dining options. We stayed in the Triple Room, on the top floor. There was a loft with another bedroom, but we did not use it. The Views from this room were unbelievable of the Churches and the rooftops. One of the best hotel views I have ever had. Santo Stefano Room. So here's what you need to know: This is not a Full Service Hotel. It is called a B and B, not to be confused with an Air B and B. There is a common area with refrigerator, but you cannot cook here, per Italian law. Off of the common area, there are several rooms for rent. There is not a Front Desk. You need to let the host know your approximate arrival time the day before. When you are on your way to the hotel, let the host know this and he will meet you there. There is no place to store your luggage while you are waiting. Our host arrived about an hour after we arrived, so we grabbed a chair in the piazza and had some snacks. It is not really a good place to stay if you need handicap accessible. There is a small lift and some stairs to negotiate to get to the top floor. Perhaps there are some rooms on a lower floor. Our Host spoke English and was very helpful, showing us how to get into the building and restaurant recommendations. There is no one there when he leaves. He gave us his # and said to call if we needed anything. We did not need to call him. The room was quiet and had AC, which we did use.

Charming, comfortable stay.

Really beautiful stay. Spotless room. Huge, comfortable bed with nice pillows. Wonderful host. A great view of the city. Even a skylight for the lovely light. One of my favorite stays in Italy. I cant reccomend it enough!

Charming and relaxing accommodations

We fell in love with this place the second we walked in the door! View of San Stefano Church from our window. Beautiful furniture, great common area with a small patio to enjoy a glass of wine after a day traveling around. Beautiful bathroom too! Highly recommend!

We love Casa Isolani. This is our second stay. The neighborhood and the vistas are beautiful and everything is very close. Olivia was great and helped us out with what we needed. The next time we return to Bologna, it will be again our choice to stay.

Renaissance break

Wonderful location, spacious and a rooftop view of the old city. About 35 steps to navigate after the lift but not a problem. A classic renaissance building, a k look rage communal yet private area. Great large bed.

Situated overlooking one of the most beautiful piazza in Bologna and close to any site in the old part of town. Piazza gets lively with bars and restaurants at night but you hear no sound in this beautiful apartment. Views from every room and the joy of old with modern amenities. Reminder there is a lift so you do not have to carry suitcases up the spiral stairs three floors. But not cars can enter the street so drop them at the corner and then go park. Great value.
