Beautiful Adults-Only Escape with One Important Caveat
My partner Steve and I stayed at The Marmara Bodrum as an adults-only retreat overlooking Bodrum Bay and Halikarnassos, and in many ways it truly excels. The elevated location offers breathtaking views, the design is elegant and understated, and the overall atmosphere is calm, refined, and very grown-up.
The rooms are spacious, quiet inside, and extremely comfortable, and the service throughout the hotel is professional, warm, and discreet. The pool and common areas are peaceful and well curated, making it a wonderful place to unwind away from the bustle of Bodrum.
However, for a hotel positioned as adults-only and tranquil, smoking on balconies and loud behavior late in the evening significantly detract from the experience. Smoke travels easily between rooms, and noise carries far more than expected in what should be a serene environment.
This hotel would reach an exceptional standard if smoking were fully prohibited (including balconies) and balcony noise more actively managed.
Overall, a beautiful property with great potential — ideal for couples seeking calm, provided these issues are addressed."
"I love this hotel. I actually canceled the previous hotel just so I could return to the Jasmine.
The one bedroom apartment is absolutely amazing. It is beautifully decorated, spacious and very comfortable. There is a washing machine in the unit so you can wash your clothes and a full kitchen.
The food in the restaurant is absolutely delicious. The breakfast buffet is amazing.
I had a chance to interact with some of the staff members, and they are all very kind and accommodating, especially Micit at the front desk. He’s a GEM!
A short taxi ride will take you to the City Center and the Bodrum Marina where you’ll find shops, restaurants, cafes, the water and the beauty of Bodrum. "
"Fulya had the best customer service, she helped us with our itinerary, where to go and what to do, she went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We will definitely be back. "
"A small quiet hotel overlooking Gumbet bay. Very friendly welcoming staff.. highlight has to be the breakfast with a view.. and the silence for the first hour of the day... Room was big with comfortable bed, good shower and a fridge for storing cold drinks. I also had a small patio (by the closed pool) which got full sun all day. and great value for money.."
"From the first moment, I walked into this hotel I was greeted with a warm and kind reception. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the pool outside the room was a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows.
The food is absolutely delicious at this hotel. We ate most of our meals at the hotel. The pre-breakfast was also delicious.
The area around the hotel is also stunning, filled with restaurants and shops.
I like this hotel so much I canceled one hotel just so I can come back to this hotel before leaving Bodrum.
I love this hotel and the staff.

"The staff at the property were wonderful - especially the front desk reception team and the restaurant team. Being vegetarian, they took care of us so much - willing to make anything to accommodate dietary needs. The staff so knowledgeable in things to do around Bodrum and giving us helpful hints. "
