"Parking easy, reception area not great but checked in ok and shown to room. Room is fine but tired and kitchen too dark and poor quality fittings. Shower not high pressure but ok.
A good freshly cooked full English breakfast, and friendly owners. "

"From start to finish we had a great stay at the Slipway. Room 11 is wonderfully quirky with a lovely outlook over the port.
Spotlessly clean and tidy, we couldn’t fault anything and all the staff were brilliant so well done to all!
We intend staying again soon.
Parking is a 10 minute walk but not a long way to go and £11 a day or £29 a week"

"Do not stay here. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and the owner was incompetent - there was no apparent cause but for around an hour it kept tripping again so eventually I tried (without success) to sleep in my car. The hotel was dirty, no-one was available to help/serve breakfast etc, items such as milk in the kitchen fridge were out of date. It is a very old unmodernised property."
