"I liked the special care given by the staff. We were well looked after & the private Onsen was great . The property is located close to a bus stop that was very useful. A Lawson’s general store is nearby. The only negative I have, and this is common for most similar accommodation, is that access is by steep narrow stairs and would be difficult for anybody with mobility problems. Would be happy to return."

"It was about 15 minutes walk from Odawara train station. There’s many steep stairs to third floor outside of building. We stayed Carol room for 8 nights which is next to Dada room. This Dada room’s bed(couch) attaches to the wall of Carol room. Walls are thin and noise like TV and talking on the phone kept us awake every night. Air conditioner/heater wasn’t working properly. The description indicates TV in living room but there’s no TV. Toilet was a bit old and smelly. Will not stay again. "

"The staff were amazing and extremely helpful. Provided what we needed at request. We wish was that in them knowing we had a vehicle, that they were able to direct us to a nearby parking lot with affordable pricing. The signs are confusing at times. We ended up paying ¥3400 the first night for overnight parking and ¥6100 the second night in the nearby lots. Other than that, the room was clean except a little black mold near the AC unit. Deep. cleaning could be better. Happy with our 2 night stay...

"初めて宿坊に宿泊 写経や瞑想ができます。 朝はお祓いをすると講中安全の守り札を授けてくださいます。 内風呂、露天風呂もあり（浴衣の柄は選べます。ボディーシャンプー、シャンプー、コンディショナー、ブラシ、綿棒、バスタオル×１、手ぬぐいタオル×１あり、垢すりなし＝宿泊用を持って行って正解） 夕食や朝食は大山の豆腐料理をとても美味しくいただきました。 ただ一つ冷蔵庫がありませんでした（アンケートに記載しました） 周辺には飲料の自販機がありますが、コンビニはありません（部屋には温かいお茶あり） それを知っていたので、オヤツは下山時にこま参道で芋ようかんや餅まんじゅうを購入。 また宿に向かう下り坂の途中に良弁まんじゅうのお店があり単品で購入。美味しくいただきました。 お陰様で素敵な大山参りができました。 また機会があれば泊まりたい宿坊です。 （Expediaで予約できる大山の宿坊は今のところココだけかも知れませんね） ありがとうございます（感謝）"

"The hotel opened three weeks before our stay, so it was absolutely stunning and modern. we also had a gorgeous view of Mt Fuji from our balcony in the morning. the personal onsen was also a great touch. beware that this is a digital hotel, so check in is a little frustrating. the other issue is that you can only use the wending machine if you have a Japanese mobile phone (eSim does not work) and it is a self catering hotel. restaurants around close at 5, there is a pizzeria with last order at 7....

"Overall is good but need to improve on check in process. Already done the pre-registration bug still need to key in the same information one by one for different person, snap a photo one by one, then continue by video call with customer service, very time consuming. The property itself is nice and great view direct facing the Fujisan. We enjoy the BBQ on the balcony and jacuzzi inside the villa. "

Beautiful stay with quick access to gora
"Beautiful location with comfortable beds and a lovely patio based onsen. Shuttle to Gora didn’t run early in the am but a 3 minute taxi was very cost effective. The stairway to gora turned out to be too steep for us. 10/10 would stay again "
