"The cabin i stayed in was as good as new.wonderfully smiley cleaner. Very helpful staff. Made an effort for me. I only stayed for 1 night so it worked perfectly for me. Convenient bus stop. Big carpark, large family orientated garden. Practical. As u would expect from urban setting not the most beautiful."

"Excellent stay, felt very welcoming upon arrival. Was even offered a room with a larger bed due to my height, but the bed and the room we booked was amazing. Looking forward to our next stay."

"We were given a different room to the one we booked. The room was smelling strongly of air freshener to cover the smell from the drains. There was no hot water in the bathroom. The evening meal was awful and took over 2hrs for 2 courses, the waitress ended up in tears after all the complaints. The receptionist tried her best to sort things out but was fighting a loosing battle. All in all not a good stay, luckily we only stayed one night - never again!!!"

"The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. "

"This is a pub with rooms, so not a hotel. But, wow it is absolutely at the top of the scale for pubs. Room was perfectly clean and had as good a view as you could find anywhere in the world. Location, perfect, parked at the nearby harbour carpark, not overly expensive. Bar staff were great, evening food was great, four real ales on tap, all delicious. Great choice at breakfast and again lovely staff. I would seriously give this accommodation 11 out of 10. 100% recommended."

"Very clean and well equipped. Nice area, close to other cities and beaches in Cornwall. The swimming pool was advertised as 24-hour full access but in reality was open only from 10am to 6pm and needed to book every day for each session. The private spa tub was advertised but missing. "

"It was our dream to visit St.Ives all the way from Japan and we decided to stay at this hotel which reached to our expectation. The quality and atmosphere of the room over looking the beach was impressive. The room and every corner of the hotel was taken care accurately and neatly with the a kind of pride and affection of the owner and staffs. The breakfast was not gorgeous like a modern 5 star hotel, but it was good enough to enjoy the touch of a fresh morning in England. We would love to come...

"We checked in but didn’t stay here. We gave the key back as soon was we reached our room, this is a sports bar which is fine if you are told this when booking. The rooms are filthy with stained bedding. We Asked for a refund as we needed to stay elsewhere but have not had any feedback from them or expedia. Not a happy customer as we use Expedia regularly. They need to look at who they endorse and refund when appropriate."
