Great for early morning walks to the beach, and if you want to explore, most things are a short driving distance for hikes and other breathtaking nearby beaches. "Stayed for two nights over the bank-holiday weekend. Our room was fairly small, but had a great sea view, and we were lucky enough to have a private balcony. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable. The shower was good, and we weren't disturbed by other guests. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. "

"This is a pub with rooms, so not a hotel. But, wow it is absolutely at the top of the scale for pubs. Room was perfectly clean and had as good a view as you could find anywhere in the world. Location, perfect, parked at the nearby harbour carpark, not overly expensive. Bar staff were great, evening food was great, four real ales on tap, all delicious. Great choice at breakfast and again lovely staff. I would seriously give this accommodation 11 out of 10. 100% recommended."

"I am extremely disappointed with the service provided. I booked a queen bed with a sea view through Expedia and paid an additional amount for this upgrade. "Lovely hotel, beautiful views and comfy rooms. Breakfast was nice but a shame you pay extra for anything outside the continental. Would need aircon if it got any hotter than when we were there. Would definitely stay again."

"I liked this apartment very much. Everything I could possibly want or need was provided. The view, particularly from the bay window, was wonderful. The steep steps up were a bit disconcerting but I got used to them and the apartment was definitely worth the steep climb. Unfortunately there was no internet access (an EE issue I gather). Also the kettle didn’t work. I just used a saucepan."
