Good location

Great location. Basic and property could do with a little TLC but it was clean and comfortable. Very comfortable bed with good quality sheets. A little disappointed with the continental breakfast selections.

Had a wonderful 10 day stay at Chantauvent. Behind the hotel is Blue Bay beach, one of the best beaches in Mauritius. Great opportunity to snorkel and see marine life. Some decent restaurants nearby and airport is only 10 mins away. Staff were helpful and friendly and the room was in good condition

First off the lady at the check in was not nice at all. The guy at the restaurant was extremely nice. Then my room was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING and small it was a room under a stairway straight out of harry potter. The room was covered in these black wing fly things. Like all over they didn't even spray the room before I came. I got there and they literally told me to spray it myself. I have asthma and I could not spray it before I slept. To be fair to them the location and the food was good. But the price of the room if I paid a little more I would have gotten a better hotel. The door to the room is a glass sliding good with a curtain if it is not closed anyone can see inside. The bathroom door is a sliding door that doesnt even work. So if I am sitting on the toilet and the curtains are open anyone can see straight inside. HONESTLY, for the money I paid it was not worth it and it was DISGUSTING! The size of the room i could have probablyh lived with even the not working bathroom dog and glass sliding door. BUT THE BLACK FLY BUGS THINGS !! THIS WAS UNACCEPTABLE!

Can't go wrong with picking this place

This place is amazing and Blue Bay the best place on the island. The staff was always ready to help and give you great service. The is beautiful and the beach is just next to your room.

Great location, spacious bedrooms with kitchenette, although they could do with refreshing. Nice restaurant. WiFi not available everywhere. Showers were lukewarm unless you use them during the day.

Very basic and small rooms, no TV. But the setting was fine. Irritating with planes flying directly overhead starting or landing at the airport: nowhere are you informed about that! Public beach closeby is very good.

Séjour catastrophique. Douche inutilisable : pression faible, eau glaciale ou brûlante sans transition. Chambre collée au resto, donc odeurs de cuisine et musique à fond toute la journée. Matelas moyen, sol gondolé, et insonorisation inexistante — on entend tout des voisins. Le seul point positif : l’emplacement, juste à côté de la plage. Pour le reste, passez votre chemin.

Séjour agréable

Séjour agréable dans une guesthouse au bord du lagon avec accès direct à la mer. La plage publique est à 2 pas. L endroit est calme. Les chambres sont toutes différentes, la notre était spacieuse et lumineuse. Équipée d un frigo, bouilloire et micro ondes, café et thé ; par contre juste du savon pour se laver les mains, pas de gel douche ni shampooing. Le petit déjeuner est excessif pour la prestation.
