"This is a lovely bed and breakfast. The room was beautifully decorated, the bed was great, and the breakfast was fabulous. A gem."

"The room could have used an update. There was an obvious burn mark on carpet from an apparent curling iron from a previous guest. The fold out sofa was tired and well worn. I would not have slept on it. Also, the sofa was placed in from of the radiator/heat source. I think this could be a fire hazard. May want to rethink the furniture placement. The toilet would intermittently run. Staff alerted to toilet issue at check out."

"The hotel was charming with nice clean rooms. The artwork in the hallway added to the charm. The breakfast was delicious and filling. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was ideal for exploring the town. We look forward to staying there again."

"We thoroughly enjoyed out two night stay at Barrow Lodge from the minute we arrived to when we left. Clodagh is an exceptional hostess, giving us the warmest welcome, and really useful advice on where to go for food and what to see. The room was big, clean with a lovely view of the estuary. Breakfast was fabulous. We've been recommending it to everyone since we left as it's a little gem and we'd definitely go back. If you're in the area, stay here!"

"Modest facilities, but clean and functional. It has a shared small kitchen for all the guests to cook their own food so during the busy season you might end with many sharing. And on the last day some guests helped themselves to some of our stuff, not fun. Very well situated, short walk to town and restaurants/shops and the other way takes you to a charming rural area very quickly. "
