"Old, worn-out, dark and dingy. Furnishings were stained and streaky, carpet was stained and dirty/sticky. Bathroom was clean but worn out. Good for a night’s rest while on the road, but would not stay here again."

"Great location, easy short walking distance to several popular restaurants. We walked to a sports restaurant/bar and had no worries about DUI or taxis. Staff was very friendly, room was quiet and clean. This is our third or fourth annual trip here for the Rhinebeck car show. Hotel is a very short drive to the Dutchess County Fairgrounds. Reasonable rates and free coffee & breakfast. "

It was quiet enough for a peaceful night's sleep but close enough to the heart of Kingston that we could easily explore the local shops and dining scene. The Hosts: Communication was seamless. They were professional, welcoming, and clearly take great pride in maintaining such a beautiful property. "Got a room with a view on rooftop AC units..not on nice scenery...I guess when you book with Expedia you do not get best rooms! Last time I stay at Marriott branded hotels..."

"Honestly there is nothing bad to day abou this property. The main house is beautiful and historic. The restaurant is also in that same house and I adored it. The food was great but I wish there a couple little details looked at in the main dining room. The smaller cabin rooms are perfect, clean, spatious, well stocked and you dont feel alone but you dont feel crowded. The land the area is so beautifil and I would definitly come back "
