"It is clean but there was a big spider crawling on the bed frame. Asked the receptionist for help they came but they did’t caught it as one of them was more scared than the spider. You can clearly hear the sound of closing door of nearby rooms. So you can wake up with the loud banging noise."

However, because the hotel is a straightforward boutique and Restaurant, the staff really shines, and they were wonderful. We booked several rooms for a wedding party and it worked out super well. "Hotel staff and concierge were great. Breakfast was excellent for a buffet. The restaurant and pub seemed to have staffing problems and were not attentive. The facility is showing it's age, however. Still, it was convenient to the mall for shopping. A little to far to walk to the Horizon cruise terminal with any luggage, but the concierge hooked us up with a taxi."

"We liked best the central location in High Street. So easy to walk to the shopping centres and restaurants/ bakeries all close by. Also easy to walk to the Tudor House, an attraction that I enjoyed visiting. It's value for money. The elevator (lift) is old-style, so be prepared that it can take at most 2 big luggages and one person. "Very short taxi ride to the cruise terminals. Staff very helpful making sure you get to the correct terminal. Nice people. Close to the Duke of Wellington pub that had great fish and chips, history and people. So much fun."
