The room was perfect for one night stay for me. The little place was cute. It was nice to be up in the mountains for a change. That’s my favorite place to be. I will definitely be back to the fireside Inn again.

Very convenient to the Village and its amenities. Although my room was quite small, it was only me and my dog and IMO good value for the price. Some deferred cosmetic maintenance in the room, e.g. patched but not painted spots on the wall. I mainly picked this place because 1) I have an elderly dog I can't travel without; and 2) I swim for daily exercise. The outdoor pool was very nice and the staff was both efficient and extra helpful. I visited during a heat wave and enjoyed the mini-split AC unit. I also got a private in-room in-person tutorial on how to operate it with the remote control unit. I will definitely stay here again.

The room was clean. The bed was very soft. Overall the property is old and in need of renovations. Peeling paint on the outside, old cigarette butts in the smoking area, no 24 hour front desk. It seems like a Motel 6 that has seen better days. Upside: it is in a good location, near the center of action in Big Bear.

The place is older so don’t expect everything to be brand new but, it’s clean and cozy. Lots of heaters, fireplace, hot tub in room and in the middle for pricing. Staff is very helpful and was available to help us with the tv and fireplace. Definitely recommend but don’t hit for persons with super high expectations. We had a great time and will be back in the future.
