This hotel is perfect to enjoy this city. The staff are amazing and they are always welcoming. They have a great service specially with the kids. The room is very nice, quiet, comfortable and very clean.

Lovely stay at the Sofitel, Biarritz

Everything about our stay has been perfect! The staff are really friendly and professional, and the room is great. The bed is so comfortable too. The restaurant accommodated us for a late supper last night and it was a magical experience with a gorgeous sunset view.

Nice stay at Sotitel Biarritz Cosy hôtel , well located, friendly staff Great view and outdoor heated pool Restaurant a bit expensive but good food, also restaurant facility not very elegant ( same place than breakfast ), better in the past with other restaurant room

The area is absolutely beautiful the location the hotel is excellent however I think needs some keep up. The whole structure is getting old and needs some maintenance. The parking it cost €30 a day.

Reception and car valet staff were very friendly. The rest were not. Spa area is a joke. Pool was dirty. Never managed to catch the shop open - so French! Building is like an old lady and on its own is not the problem. Staff appeared poorly managed. To finish on a positive the bed was amazing.

Staff is excellent and super friendly. Property has considerable deferred maintenance. We did not have AC or hot water late night. Know that AC is turned off during shoulder seasons. Not ideal and really stuffy rooms.

My family booked this hotel thinking it looked like the pictures on the internet – it didn’t; the Sofitel Biarritz needs an URGENT refurbishment as it looks awful. This Sofitel property should be taken away the 5* status immediately, as in reality, it has the condition of a 3*. The carpets across the hotel are extremely old, the terrace of my room was falling apart (see pictures), and the entire outside is oxidated and looks like an old hotel in very poor condition. The pictures in my review speak for itself. If you wish to have an awful experience as I did room 412 and experience the awful holiday, book the Sofitel!

I left a brand new coat (wrapped i a hanger) inside my bag inside my car and paid valet parking ($30 a day) only to have my coat taken from either my car or my room. Called manager and she said she would get back to me with an answer and I am now waiting for her call. It is unreal that this happens in a Sofitel Hotel. Very disapointed and very disturbed. I hope the manager comes up with my coat and finds the employee responsible

Un peu déçu

Quel dommage d’avoir laissé à l’abandon un si bel établissement qui a du faire rêver il y a 30 ans. On sent le poids des années à tous les niveaux. Cependant gros point positif le personnel est charmant attentionné et très prévenant. Je pense qu’ils font ce qu’ils peuvent avec ce qu’il reste pour maintenir le navire à flots. Pas testé le spa /thalasso. Malgré tout confort dans la chambre avec un lit xxxxl super !

Schlechtes Erlebnis mit diesem Hotel. Wir mussten das Hotel (2 Zimmer) wegen einem Todesfall in der Familie (Mutter) kurzfristig stornieren. Das Hotel war nicht bereit auch nur einen kleinen Teil des Preises zurück zu erstatten!

Bonjour, Je viens de Madagascar et je n’ai pas de puce de téléphone française. J’ai choisi cet hôtel car il y avait la wifi dans la chambre, pour que je puisse travailler en alternance avec mes soins. Résultat pas d’internet dans la chambre. J’ai du acheter du crédit sur le tél de ma fille qui vit à Barcelone pour qu’elle me partage sa connexion. Heureusement car j’avais 3 visio conférences importantes pendant ma semaine chez vous. Je ne suis vraiment pas contente de ce désagrément par rapport au prix ou je paye. J’attends de voir ce que vous me proposerez comme geste commerciale.
