"The lodge and location was outstanding. Situated on Heron Lakes looking across one of the 6 lakes on site with stunning views. Great location to get to the coast and plenty to do on site with walked, bike trails and of course fishing! Great short break away and will be staying here again. "The owners were really helpful. I informed them beforehand I was arriving late, but I was even later than planned and they had no problem with this. It was a friendly welcome and I just needed a bed as a base for wildlife photography at Bempton and this fitted the bill. There was a bit of wear and tear in the room, but it was clean and a nice building. And great value for money. I would stay again."
