Good choice in a great area of Berlin

Stayed for one night and it was alright. Located in my favorite area in Berlin. Staff was helpful and room was clean and spaceous. The only minus is that there is a busy road next to the hotel, which was a bit noisy. While this didn't bother me, light sleepers might want to request a room that is not directly facing the road.

Overall we had a nice stay. Room and bathroom were nice, spacious and comfortable. Perfect if you enjoy staying in the Friedrichshain area. However, one of the receptionists’ lack of skills to communicate and the fact that rooms weren’t soundproof did decrease the overall experience.

Comfortable and friendly

Friendly check-in, comfortable and clean room, good coffee in the restaurant downstairs. They even fixed a minor issue with the bathroom sink over a holiday after I reported it, even though I said it wasn't urgent.

Staff was very kind and location is good. Curtains don't block out all the light so it is hard to sleep in. Hallways got noisy in the mornings with other guests and housekeeping staff. Decent value for the money.

Would recommend

Very nice hotel, with a nice and friendly staff. Especially Alan and Pietro who did the extra to give good service. The hotel is close to tram line and s-bahn, as well as some cafes and a supermarket. All in all, a very good experience here. Would recommend.

The staff was beyond helpful and friendly. This is typical of German hotels and the culture. They really go out of their way to help, without discrimination. The rooms are not that big, but they are super clean, comfy and have balconies.

There is a terrible terrible smell in the elevator. I’ve never experienced anything like it before. It smelled like an old and moldy dishrag. The drain in the shower didn’t work too well, so there was a big puddle in the shower shortly after starting it. Otherwise the location is good and the bed is comfortable.

The only minor feedback is that there is not an iron in the rooms. Aside from that, the hotel is great, the staff are fantastic and it is very conveniently located close to transport.

The staffs are very nice. The hotel is clean and quiet. The only complaint is the comfort is too thick for summer. We had to keep the air conditioner running low in the night. Other wise it’s too hot to sleep with the thick comfort.

When we arrived it was found out that our booking never transferred onto their system. The receptionist worked hard trying to find us a room at either this hotel or their sister hotel. They managed and we got checked in. Room was nice and spacious. Comfy chair. Bed not so much and no fan in the bathroom so it quickly became a sauna in there, especially after a shower. The hotel had a heating issue and the room was stuck at 28 degrees. Overall pleasant stay. Plus- excellent bakery across the road 🙂

Nice hotel, breakfast superb but served at the hotel next door. Cleaning lady was eager to clean, knocked on the door very early. The AC didnt work these days, and the traffic outside was crazy. But other than that, i had a nice stay
