Lovely, comfortable stay. Good location, bus stop just round the corner with loads of journey options. Limited interactions with the staff but all were pleasant. We arrived late, after reception closed, but they left a key for us. Rooms were comfortable and spacious, good shower, dated decor but loads of space and everything you needed.

Excellent location to train station with few minutes walking. The gas station crossing the street has Convenient Store. We loved to buy our simple meals there. Simple layout room. Bed was comfortable. Shared shower room was clean. Hot water kettle provide convenient to eat instant noodle or soup we bought.

Good wifi, great sleep and well located.

Everything was smooth, the beed was super comfortable and the room was quiet, breakfast was simple but good. I will definitely come back to this hotel.

An excellent Hotel/Pensione. I can’t understand this description it as good as most 4* hotels I’ve stayed in and better than many. Self-service is more than adequate and the staff are helpful and friendly. The area just off the Ku’Damm is great with an excellent S,U and bus service close by. My place to go when visiting one of my favorite cities.

Some of the room furnishings appeared a little dated and tired, but it was perfectly adequate, and the room was very large, and the hotel was full of character. The breakfast - 7.30-10.30 daily - was excellent and substantial - everything you could have wanted (apart from a full-English, of course!). The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The hotel is a bit old-school, but the staff is very helpful and friendly, rooms are clean and spacious enough. The location is very convenient, so if you plan to use the room mostly for sleep, it's a reasonable choice.

Reserved a comfort room for one night, and I got a whole apartment, which normally would be a positive upgrade. But the apartment was very cold and the heating system just wasn’t up to par. It took the whole night for the place to get to a comfortable temperature

A lucky find.

I’d stayed in the area before but Kurfürst was a lucky find. Just off the Ku’Damm an area I like. A bright, spotless and airy room, a good continental breakfast, friendly staff at a surprisingly lower rate than I’d payed before. If I’m fortunate to return to Berlin again I’ll be staying there again and would recommend it to anyone.

Very dated and worn. Furniture scuffed and carpets old and stained. Nice large room with semi-comfortable beds and a handy mini fridge and good shower. Location is great, right off the main shopping street and lots of options for food and sights too. Decent price.

The hotel is basically a bunch of old apartments converted to hotel rooms. It was clean and a great location, however we were on the top (5th) floor and the elevator was out of order (for the forseeable future). We had to haul our luggage all the way up and the higher you get the hotter it gets - it was sweltering up there (no aircon). We were literally sweating by the time we reached our room. In addition, the hot water pressure in our room was non-existant, literally a trickle. Overall disappointing and not recommended for anyone older or with health problems/lack of fitness!

Nice stay

Nice room, lots of stairs but fine, breakfast was nice, unfortunately we did get a message after the first night saying we had a breakfast that wasn't included in our stay, I had to send them a screenshot of our booking stating free breakfast included. But everything else was fine, convenient location, easy access to transport, eating places and shopping.

Nice place but the information said the place had a lift which it did not have. I have bad knees and had to basically crawl to the fifth floor every day for 3 days which was very disappointing.
