Great location and does the job

The location is brilliant. It was straightforward to get too by train and was close to lots of shops. The room was clean but there was a smell of smoke for the first few days. The breakfast was good with a good selection and the staff were friendly

The small add-on elevator has glass walls. Terrible idea for people with a fear of heights and does not go to top floor. Rugs on stairs ripped. Staff was friendly. No variety day-to-day with the breakfast. Hotel is kept very clean. Neighborhood is a bit run down. The Charlottenburg train station is right across the street. Great shopping area a block away. I would avoid this hotel for another visit.

Super convenient and easy

Honestly this place was a god send if you’re not looking for luxury but looking for basic and decent and a very cheap cost that’s just out of the city centre!! So so easy to get an underground or train to Berlin centre as both stations are literally opposite the hotel on the awn street. Only issue I had was the shower head was pointing downwards permanently but I worked around it. Couldn’t thank the lovely staff enough with. Such a convenient and simple hotel to stay in Berlin.

It was an averge stay. The room had all the necessities and was just clean enough. The linen weren’t as clean as I had hoped, weird specks here and there. I suspected bed bugs, but later cancelled that thought. The worry still affected my stay, so I would hope the linen of the next customer would be more clean to remove any suspicions. On the other hand, the customer service was very nice. Big windows that could be opened wide in the room were great. Really helped with the heat of the weather.

Good, clean, very simple hotel with pleasant staff. Very easy access to mainline trains. Unfortunately it was an extremely hot night and there is no air conditioning or fans. Noise was good from the outside, but the internal doors didn't block any sound from the hallway really.

I liked the hotel very much. All was very clean and everything inside the hotel was perfect. But when looked in the backyard there was very messy and not so clean. Old garbage furniture was exposed. It did not look nice. Everything else was really really good.

Low value for money for a family room with 2 adults and 2 children. Better options definitely available for only slightly higher prices. Very confrontational staff member at breakfast made for a terrible experience. Breakfast buffet was very average quality.

Nice little old school hotel

Nice little old school hotel. I recieved nothing but good service and smiles from the people working there. The elevator stops between the floors, and the stairs was showing years of wear and tear. I find this as a charming feature, but it may not be for everyone. The single room was small but sufficient with wardrobe, a little desk and a big (compared to the room) bathroom. All in all, I'm very satisfied with the hotel, and I'm happy to recommend this hotel. I didn't order breakfast, so I have no idea of the food served there.

Its a bitnfarther from the central station but its very easy to get there, and relatively quick (15 min tops). Right beside the ubahn and s bahn. Tons of food and shops near. The only downside is that the building is older and sound carries pretty far. The courtyard faces about 3 other buildings and can be loud if youre a light sleeper. I really wish itnwasnt because the staff was great and the location might be the best youll find outside of the city center. However that downside isnt for everyone and i know plenty of people who wouldnt be bothered in the slightest by it.
