"The breakfast staff were very gracious and helpful. Breakfast options were very well prepared; lots of fresh fruit and coffees. Also, the hotel staff in general were very nice. If I were to suggest improvements-it would be to install a grab bar in the walk-in shower. Because the shower wasn’t equipped with a grab bar, nor any type of anti-slip mat for the shower floor-which was marble and could get quite slippery. Also, the TV remote control was not as useful as most I’ve found in hotel rooms:...

"Fantastic room with lots of space, hotel is so well connected for travelling around the city. Excellent breakfast buffet and we enjoyed a drink in the bar each evening. Be aware that it is very close to a train station and you do get noise as a result, but the pros of being able to move so easily around the city far outweighed any noise for us. They even provided ear plugs and we slept really well so it’s not a complaint at all, just something to be aware of.
Staff were so helpful with every...

"First time trying this hotel having stayed at the Adlon, Hilton Gendarmenmarkt and the Pierre. We lived in Berlin for a few years n the 90s and get back to visit now and then. Didn’t know what to expect but Expedia had a special offer going. The hotel exceeded my expectations. We were given an upgrade to a larger, quieter room upon check-in by s friendly and welcome staff member. The property was lovely, rooms nicely appointed, and the included breakfast buffet was delicious. I would highly...

"We stayed here for five days. This is a very nice hotel, high-end, with staff who are used to taking care of their guest's wishes. The room inside was very nice, with a few exceptions. The bed was comfortable, as were the pillows, and it was a large room with a separate closet, water closet, and bath area. The in-room amenities were very nice (robes, slippers, chocolate, turn-down service); however, we did experience a few setbacks. First, the shower did not drain well. We mentioned this on our...

"This was my first time staying at this hotel and I left with a big smile on my face. My room was very clean, the staff was very friendly, courteous and friendly and the breakfast is to die for. The bar is huge too. If you're a big drinker there's so much alcohol there that you can spend the entire night there, have a friendly chat with the bar tender, throw all your money away and if you're too drunk to get to your room you can either sleep in the lobby in one of the comfortable chairs there or...
