The room was very nice, clean and quiet and the bed very comfortable. The hotel was in a great location very near to the fernicular up to the old town but also not too far from the train station. This is an excellent property in all respects - very well maintained, excellent service, comfortable bed, well equipped bathroom, a great breakfast buffet with a wide variety of choices. But the one additional thing and strong contribution to my selection was the location, a 15 minute walk from the train station, 5 minutes to the funicular to Citte Alta, 7 minutes to the Donizetti Theatre, and easily accessible to the museums and galleries. Finally, the location is very quiet, away from the tourist crowds and across from a small park. A private hotel parking lot is right across from the entry. A great find!

The hotel is in a good central location to walk to and explore Citta Alta and Citta Bassa in Bergamo. Room conditions were good, it was spacious and clean. Sufficient closet space, which is beginning to be a problem at hotels. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and had dinner at the rooftop restaurant. Wonderful evening view of the Venetian walls and Citta Alta. The one problem we had, and it is common to many hotels, insufficient number of outlets to plug in chargers (without unplugging the TV, etc), as well the inconvenient locations of some outlets.
