You can tell a lot of care goes into keeping the hotel at such a high standard. The hospitality was second to none. The staff were genuinely warm, attentive, and couldn’t do enough for us. A special mention as my wife accidentally left her toiletry bag behind, and the hotel very kindly returned it to us in the post without any fuss at all — an incredibly thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. We wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend this hotel. Brilliant place, brilliant staff, and a truly faultless stay."

"We had a beach view room which was spacious and had an absolutely stunning view over the beach and cliffs over a distance. We came to the island for my son’s fossil hunting. He’s 9. We listened to the high tides at night, absolutely worth it. Even with the window open, it’s still warm during the day in the winter. Will revisit. "

"Our large room was excellent. It had been recently refurbished, along with the en-suite shower room. It had a fantastic view of the water. The food was good and Chelsea was a very pleasant and efficient member of staff. "

"On arrival our room was upgraded to a large seaview room with a walk in shower which was a very nice welcome. The Pump room bar is excellent with a cozy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food both at breakfast and in the evening venues is top notch. Dining is a particular highlight which should not be missed with a very good menu expertly prepared and served to a really high standard. "
