"This was a beautiful hotel as expected. Our only issue were the staff during breakfast. We wasn’t seated, we had to keep catching staff to ask for coffee etc (which we waited 30mins to receive!) it seems there were a lot of lower grade staff replenishing the food etc, but they were not allowed to deal with the customers, they were the most helpful tbh. But had to go ask their superiors each time we had a simple question. It was a shame as everything else was amazing."

"This Hotel is trading off its historic reputation and is definitely not grand. Do not go. The hotel is very dated very shabby the rooms are unwelcoming . Plugs loose not working ac toilet seats that don’t fit.. We ended up leaving early to the palace in Milano marrittima which is actually owned by the same parent company and it was a completely different experience. The palace was absolutely wonderful. Go there instead!!"
