What a Charming and Excellent Hotel to stay in! My wife immediately fell in love with this place! Definitely recommend this lovely place. The Staff is friendly and professional! The decor is nicely done, comfortable bed, just a great place to stay.

We were thrilled with our stay at this sweet little place. The rooms were clean, well kept and quiet. The staff was friendly, veey helpful and accommodating. They had a great breakfast in the morning. The price was great and the location was convenient to the ferries and restaurants/shopping, highly recommend!

Everyone was super helpful and friendly, giving us good advice about what to see, where to eat, and how to stay safe. Rooms were not huge but certainly adequate. If you are going to stay overnight in Belize City, we would highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely amazing staff. Judy and Mark (security) were amazingly kind and helpful. Judy readily offered to drive us to the water taxi terminal free of charge. The property was well maintained. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The best place to stay in Belize City!! David and Judy (the owners) made me feel right at home, and being a full time female traveller, this is huge!! They spent time telling me about where to visit and gave me tea for the flu I was fighting. David even drove me himself to a restaurant one night and to the airport. The rooms are spacious and clean, breakfast is delicious and the rest of the staff are amazing :) couldn’t recommend this place enough!! I will be back!

This place is a true gem in Belize City. The minute I walked in, was welcome by the entire staff. I instantly felt like I was home and felt safe. The whole property is secure, quite clean and the garden-flowers are just gorgeous. The room was just the perfect size, as well as the bathroom, The bed was very comfortable and clean. The property has beautiful landscaping so very well kept. The food is delicious as well as the drinks. If you have special dietary needs, just ask and they will do anything to meet them. Everybody is very helpful and friendly. If you need help with booking a tour they will do that for you, and if you have any questions just ask, they are more than happy to help you or refer you to the person who can. One South Place Hotel is close to the water taxi, only 10 minute walk, as well 5 minute walk to the grocery store. I highly recommend One South Place👍

We stayed at One South Place Hotel and it was such a great experience. The staff and owners are very attentive and so nice. Staying here really made you feel like you came home. One thing that stood out was the fact that they all learned our names and had real conversations with us. I met Judy at check in and she made it very smooth and quick so we could get to our rooms and settle with our kids. We later met David and he got to talking sports with my husband and kids, since thats what they are into. Lincoln helped us to our rooms and showed us how everything works. Chester provided transportation for us for some of our outings. We were able to walk to restaurants, and shops for anything we needed. The staff also can recommend restaurants and help direct you to anywhere or anything you want to do. The personal touches, the dedication and hard work definitely makes this hotel stand out like a rare diamond. We also had breakfast downstairs, we tried local dishes and we fell in love. The 2 ladies in the kitchen are awesome chefs. Our server was very lovely, she made great fresh drinks and smoothies! We truly enjoyed our stay, such a beautiful hotel and people!

One South Place Hotel is a perfect place to stay while visiting Belize City. My wife and I could not speak more highly of this Hotel. The neighborhood is safe and perfectly situated on the waterfront. The owners and staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The accommodations are clean and comfortable. The pricing is very reasonable. Thanks so much for a great stay South Place! We hope to return in the future!
