"Le personnel était très gentil et professionnel, c’est vraiment ce que j’ai le plus apprécié ! La chambre était spacieuse et propre. Ce que j’ai moins apprécié c’est la salle de bain car selon ma réservation j’aurais dû bénéficier d’une baignoire et ça n’était pas le cas, il y avait très peu de produit gel douche et shampooing dans le contenant, insuffisant pour deux personnes ! Les petites serviettes étaient très abîmées. Le petit déjeuner était correct mais choix insuffisant."

"We arrived in Cherbourg by sailboat, but the journey had been rough and we were feeling cold wet and tired, and wanted a nearby place to recuperate, rather than sleep on our boat in the cold weather. This place was ideal. We had good wash and sleep, and was refreshed for our onward sailing journey."

"Friendly and heloful welcome upon arrival. Clean and good size room with big bed. Blackout curtains, calm, yet in a very good location. As with bathroom, very small and unpractical bathtub. Small TV too far away from bedt to shower with no curtains. "

J’avais pourtant demandé une chambre supérieure, mais on m’a attribué une chambre en rez-de-chaussée qui ressemblait à une catégorie économique oubliée des années 70 : odeur d’humidité persistante, salle de bain minuscule et dans son jus, serviettes d’entrée de gamme. Pas d’acceuil. Pour un établissement noté au-dessus de 9/10, je m’attendais à tout autre chose. Il y a manifestement un décalage entre la réputation en ligne et la réalité sur place."

"Well situated hotel close to the old town and not far from the museums, port, station etc. Good secure parking (9 spaces), reasonable price and comfortable room and bed. Two complaints; pillow was too hard, bath was too small."

"This was in the perfect location for us, and although a couple imperfections (wifi didn't work for us - probably needed to reboot router; room was a little cold - radiator never felt very hot), overall we had a very pleasant stay. Comfy bed, decent en-suite bathroom with spacious shower cubicle. We didn't opt for the breakfast, but the dining room looked nice and the breakfast was reasonably priced at 13 Euros. There was a decent supermarket a short walk away so we were able to get a few...
