"The location was great with a view of the harbor and the lift bridge from the room. It was a short walk across the lift bridge to Canal Park and good food, museums, and shopping. We went to the Great Lakes Aquarium, the William A Irvin ore ship museum and walked along Lake Superior. The buffet breakfast was great and everything was clean. This was a wonderful place to stay."

"It's not the HI Express. Parking was plentiful in the ramp across the street. You walk to find breakfast, but all the shops were good (except the bakery-that was excellent!!). Canel walk was close enough, but you will be tired after walking all day. The room we stayed in had character-dark walls, the walkin glass shower had stripes like a cage! We'll probably check it out the next time we visit Duluth."

"There is a lot of good about the property and the room we stayed in. Everything is brand new, but here are some things to consider. The apartment we stayed in had two big massive windows which is awesome, but the shades are only light filtering so it's still pretty bright in the room at night. The blinds in the bedroom should have had black out blinds. So you might want to bring your own sleeping masks to help make the rooms darker. The only other downside is how loud the AC is when it turns...

"The room was charming and welcoming and beautifully appointed. The location was fabulous with the ability to go for long walks along the lakefront a few steps away. I didn’t receive check-in instructions and had to call for those when I arrived but the staff were super helpful and even got my room ready early as the weather was dreadful and I had my dog with me. It was a lovely place to stay!"

"Parking situation is very poorly explained and set up. The street markings out front appear to show that you can’t pull up, stop or unload at the main lobby door, and there’s seemingly no concierge. The actual parking garage is on the far side of the block on a one way system, we had to go around twice before we were able to identify the correct access point. "Virtual staff was super helpful and pretty responsive to all my questions and concerns. A lot to do in the area and less than a 20 minute drive anywhere. Only thing is if you’re a light sleeper bring an eye masks, ear plugs and your own blanket. Love the natural lighting the rooms get but if you’re wanting to sleep in there aren’t any black out curtains and walls are very thin, you can hear everything and the blankets that are provided are pretty itchy and thin. "My room smelled really bad. The phone cord dropped out of the handset when I picked it up. I got shampoo but no conditioner. When I took a shower I found out the drain was clogged. When I called down to the front desk they either made excuses or just told me that is the way it is. Got out of there asap. Would give half a star if I could.
