"Stayed here many times before then they got ridiculous with room costs. Was happy when I noticed they became reasonable so took advantage of it. Many don’t travel to Duluth because it’s become too expensive and often drive to Minneapolis instead."

"Beautiful place to stay, especially if you’re in town to see a ship come in! Short walking distance to the piers around the canal, but you certainly can see the ships from your room (I watched the Barker and was not disappointed!!) Very clean room, loved the whirlpool and the bed was sooo comfy. The gas fireplace was nice in the evening. Quiet neighbors (or good soundproofing!) Continental breakfast was quaint. Will stay here again next time I come up to see the ships!"

"Hotel and staff were excellent. Room was cute and spacious. But multiple problems with the tv and streaming services. The kitchen trash also wasn't taken out from the previous tenant (which was full of empty beer cans). We also found a half empty Jack Daniels bottle in one of the kitchen cabinets. The parking was the worst of all. Was told parking was only "a block away" but was definitely further and there was construction EVERYWHERE which made getting to our car twice the amount of distance. Also, there was an additional fee per night for parking (which I think was ridiculous being the hotel alone was $160 a night). Parking (at least at that lot) SHOULD have been free since there wasn't a lot on the hotel site. Would consider staying again if the parking issue was addressed."

"A very cosy and pleasant place. My husband and I were travelling together. The hotel is situated right on the lakeshore; the surrounding area is clean, pleasant and quiet. All the necessary restaurants and shops are just 5 minutes away. The view from the window is lovely! The fireplace and jacuzzi were a lovely addition to our suite. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We’ll definitely be back!!!"

"Great location, very nice size hotel with a separate room. Was very cool how tall it felt and having a lot of space for the price. A very good value. Just be aware that it's cheaper to park at the lot just down the street, that has an EV charger as well if you need."
